The PetroNile Academy organised a one-day workshop on the fundamentals of oil and gas at the University of Gezira in Sudan. The workshop introduced the students to the basic concepts and processes of the oil and gas industry. The faculty staff, including the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Elhadi, and lecturers Dr. Musa Mina, Dr. Waheed Abakar, and Dr. Enas Yagoub, participated in the workshop. At the end of the workshop, we provided the students with certificates of attendance and appreciation. We also expressed our special thanks and gratitude to the Dean of the Faculty of Science for giving us the golden opportunity to do this wonderful event at Gezira University by giving him a certificate of appreciation. The workshop increased the students’ interest in energy industry, which is one of the most vital and dynamic sectors in the world. Moreover, it helped us to build a strong bond and cooperation with Gezira University, which is a public university and a member of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World. Additionally, it enhanced the human capital and the potential of the students, who are the future leaders and experts of the oil and gas industry in Sudan.
